The Toddler Program Friends School and Day Care		Toddlers are children 12 months who are walking to 36 months at Friends. The toddlers are split into four age groups since so much change and growth takes place during the next 24 months of life. Each program is a play-based curriculum designed to meet each child’s individual needs. The daily structure is filled with developmentally appropriate activities, both group and individual, that foster growth, learning, creativity and imagination. Classes follow a basic timeline structure with one nap following lunch. The children are introduced to colors, shapes, and other basic skills that help to make sense of the world around them.
